Blog Instructions! Thanks for being here.

Welcome to our family blog!

Log-in in the upper right-hand corner of the blog screen using the username and password I sent you and you have access to everything.

To Post Pictures and Memories

To post Holland family pictures or memories, click on New Post also in the upper right corner.  For pictures, click on the picture icon at the top (which will say insert image) and upload all pictures you'd like to include from the same year.  Label on the right side as photos.  Then click on schedule and put in the year the pictures were taken.  Then click publish.  Same for memories.  Label as memories, then click on schedule and put in the year the memory falls into.  I know this may take some time, but it'll be awesome to have them in a timeline order.

To Post Your Picture and Bio

To post to the pages with your picture, memory and bio, click on Design (also in the upper right-hand corner) and then click on pages on the left.  All the pages will come up.  Click on edit under the correct family name.

Scroll to your name and click just under your name and then click on the picture icon (which will say insert image) to upload your picture.

Then under the headings put in your memory/memories and personal biographical sketch.

Then click UPDATE in the upper right-hand corner.  Done.

Canada Family Reunion

I remember going to Canada for a family reunion around 1995.  One of my favorite parts of the trip was that we hooked up CB radios in the cars in the caravan for the drive.  I didn't really know my cousin Neil and he kept telling jokes and was SO funny!  I remember "Howe Tal is a Chinaman" or something like that and it took us forever to get it.  I also remember Cassie being really little on the trip and if we'd ask her her name, she'd reply in the cutest little voice "Cassie Erin MacDonald."  I also remember getting to wander the farm (maybe Uncle Ted's farm?) where the family reunion was held.  That was a first for me, and I thought it was really cool.
